Thomas Arthur STOTT
1936-2002
and mentor. Tom passed
away at Agape Hospice in Calgary, after a hard fought battle with cancer
which he faced with courage, tenacity optimism and humour. He leaves to
cherish his memory, his father Arthur; wife Jenifer; sons Christopher
(Claire, loving papa to Graeme and Owen), and Mark (Charmayne); and
extended family in Edmonton, AB and the U.K."Airly Beacon" was a proud member of the Class of '56 in H.M.C.S. Venture, a graduate of the U of C and a chartered psychologist, he was a vocational councellor and advocate for the disabled. For many years he was Chairman of the V.R.D.P committee. His skills at finding employment for clients and friends is legendary. Tom was a member of the No. 284 Royal Canadian Legion and served as Secretary.
Tom was a man of integrity, .....a gentle giant.
