Len DeMaere

DeMAERE, Leonard Francis (Len) Passed away peacefully on March 23, 2011 at the age of 75 years.

Len will be lovingly remembered by his wife Anita; sons: Glenn (Sandy), Dwayne, Bruce (Julie); his grandchildren: Michael, Robert, Angela and Emma; Izaak and Adam; sister Marian, brothers: Donald, Norman, Cameron and numerous relatives and friends including his best friends: Bud (Faith) Stanley and Ernie Schwab.

Len was predeceased by his parents: Francis & Edith DeMaere, brother Kenneth; and first wife, Pat (Prowse). Memorial Service will be held at First Memorial Funeral Services, 4725 Falaise Drive, Saanich on April 9th at 2:00pm.

From Gil Parker: Len was in Venture '54, Stevens Div, one year only, like me. He was from Granum, Alberta, a farming and ranching area, and we joined after high school together. He ran a cucumber farm in Saanich for many years.
