GIBB, Dale Edward, Captain, RCN (ret'd) Age 61. Died suddenly from complications of diabetes on October 4, 2002 in North Saanich, B.C.

Predeceased by eldest son Timothy, 1986. Survived by wife Joan, sons Stefan and Christopher, grandchildren Alexander and Pandora, sister Linda Newman and family.

No service by request. Interment in Halifax at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association or Canadian Naval Memorial Trust would be greatly appreciated.
