VENTURE ASSOCIATION AWARD
As reported by Capt (Ret’d) Harry Harsch, RCN the Chair of the RCSCEF in the May issue of
The Signal, each year one of the annual scholarships will be entitled “The Venture Association
Award” in acknowledgement of our $14,000 donation to the RCSCEF.
The first Venture Association Award has just been announced. CPO2 Clare Mombourquette a member of the
ship’s company of RCSCC ARROW in Arichat, NS is the first sea cadet to benefit from the
$1,000 Venture Association scholarship award. Clare from L’Ardoise, NS will be attending the
Université de Moncton and majoring in Mechanical Engineering.
